Subject: DCI Parking-lot video content
Hello,
We met at Bloomington and we discussed about your posting parking lot warm-up videos on your site. I did my best but I was unable to find a way for you to do this without it becoming a problem with our copyright policies. After reviewing the SCV already up on your site there are several concerns that have come up. I'm unable to list them all but it mostly has to do with the length of each video segment and the lack of commentary that differentiates it as educational/news video. We have to ask that you remove the 2008 videos at your earliest convenience.
Next year we will have guidelines we can forward to you that will give you press access to our staff and members. That way you can act as commentators/educators to the activity. Boom Boom TV and Halftime Mag are good examples but keep in mind they do not post full warm-up sessions.
Thank you for understanding,
John Christensen
